梅西大学（Massey University）成立于1927年，学校为纪念前新西兰总理威廉·弗格森·梅西（William Ferguson Massey，1865-1925）而命名。梅西大学是新西兰唯一一所在三个城市设有校区的大学。大学还是英联邦大学协会成员。

　　Massey University, established in 1927, was named in honor of former New Zealand Prime Minister William Ferguson Massey (1865–1925). It is the only university in New Zealand with campuses across three cities. Additionally, Massey University is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

　　In the 2025 QS World University Rankings, Massey University is ranked 239th globally. Notably, the Massey Business School is one of the earliest institutions in New Zealand to receive dual accreditation from EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) and AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)—a distinction held by only 5% of the world’s top business schools. Renowned as New Zealand’s leading business school, its Finance program has been ranked No. 1 in the Asia-Pacific region.
