Teaching Methods
Language Courses
The teaching objective of language courses is to effectively improve the comprehensive English application ability and exam-taking ability. For input-oriented courses of listening and reading, the online-to-offline hybrid teaching mode is adopted, in which students listen and read the material before class and display their learning achievements in class by means of presentations, reports and discussions. For output-oriented courses of speaking and writing, corpus and templates are provided according to the theme and classification for students to imitate, recite and recreate.
Engineering Courses
For engineering courses, the Project-Based Learning (PBL) mode is implemented and teaching activities are carried out on the basis of "project ". The course is introduced in the way of assignment of project tasks and then is divided into several learning points with corresponding projects so that the students can conduct research-based learning, design relevant experiments on their own , and carry out project research and development under the guidance of the teacher.
Management Courses
The teaching model should be transformed from the Lecture-based Learning mode to a hybrid teaching mode of lectures, practice, discussion, experience and other elements. In the process of teaching, teachers should change their role from lecturers into a guides and students from passive receivers to active explorers.
