Student Admission Batch: The admission batch in Guangdong Province is an undergraduate batch; for the admission batches of other provinces and cities, please refer to the official admissions professional catalog published by the Provincial or Municipal admissions departments.

Program Introduction

The International Undergraduate Class of Guangdong University of Technology is an international application-oriented talent training program with mutual recognition of credits and a dual degree jointly developed by our school and well-known universities in the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States. Our partner universities include but are not limited to: Loughborough University, Queen's University Belfast, University of Dundee, University of Huddersfield, the University of Western Australia, University of Technology Sydney, University of Wollongong and Missouri University of Science and Technology, etc.

Program Features

The program is a joint training program between Guangdong University of Technology and prestigious foreign universities at undergraduate level. It adopts the training mode of "one-to-many, mutual recognition of credit ".

Students are expected to take courses about general education, language skills enhancement and disciplinary foundation in Guangdong University of Technology. The teaching staff include foreign teachers, teachers of GDUT who graduated from top universities at home and abroad or from overseas partner universities. All the courses are conducted in English or bilingually. Students who have met the requirements and have been accepted by the partner universities will continue their own major study in the corresponding partner university. Those who have completed all the courses required by Chinese and foreign universities and met the requirements for graduation and degree awarding will be awarded a bachelor's degree certificate of GDUT and an undergraduate diploma of GDUT as well as a bachelor's degree certificate from the corresponding overseas partner university.

The program was approved and recorded by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province in April 2015.

Application Eligibility (Applicants must meet the following requirements at the same time)  

Applicants who have participated in the National College Entrance Examination in 2020 and with a score reaching or above the admission mark of the provincial (municipal) enrollment batch admission score line

Note:

1. There are two modes of educational system for students in International Classes.

（1）After studying in GDUT in the first two academic years, the students will continue to study in the overseas partner university for the third and forth academic years  after admission.

（2）Students who are not going to study abroad by various reasons after studying in GDUT in the first two academic years could apply to study in the School of International Education for the third and forth academic years according to training model of international cooperation with GDUT bachelor’s degrees being accredited after obtaining all the credits required by the major.

2. Students of International Cooperative Programs who prefer to change their majors during the first two academic years should follow relevant rules and regulations of GDUT.

3. Students must purchase Accidental Medical Insurance by themselves during their study and living abroad, and make sure that the insurance policies cover entire period of their stay.

Expenses

Besides the standard tuition fee of GDUT, the annual expense for international cultivation is 33,800 yuan RMB during the first two academic years.

For students who continue to study in the overseas partner university  for the third and forth academic years after admission, the standard tuition fee of GDUT would be charged.

For students who continue to study in the School of International Education for the third and forth academic years according to the training model of international cooperation, the annual expense for international cultivation of 48,000 yuan RMB and the standard tuition fee of GDUT would be charged.

Admission requirements and expense of the overseas partner university shall be in accordance with the enrollment standards of the corresponding university.
